Bub’s Burgers shined bright during the pandemic. The beloved smash-burger pop-up frequented bars and breweries around town, indulging the Big Easy community with the smash-burger craze. Now, Bub’s fans can rest easy knowing their favorite burger will have a permanent brick & mortar restaurant in Mid-City starting June 8!

The grand opening for the restuarant will be June 8, and they plan to be open Tuesday through Sunday from 11am until 9pm. According to their Facebook post, they will still keep select pop-ups going throughout the city, so keep an eye on those dates if you want to venture out.

Bub’s opened in June 2020 as a pop-up restaurant by 5 friends. Their burger selections vary from the Bub Royale with two all beef patties, American cheese, red onion, Bibb lettuce and tomato, plus their homemade bread and butter pickles and signature bub sauce, to the Impossible Bub, a plant-based option for our veggie friends!

Friends of River Beats also rave about their side offerings, including crispy french fries and delicious Brussel Sprouts tossed in a sweet and spicy honey sriracha glaze.
