Are those dog days of summer getting you down? Don’t worry, there are new summer specials from Fulton Alley, Toups Meatery, and Bayou Bar to lift your spirits!

Summer can a rough time for our wallets, especially for those in the service industry. Luckily, these establishments recognize the struggle and are here to help!

Fulton Alley

Love bowling but don’t want to break the bank? From now until the end of August, Fulton Alley is offering 50% off lane rentals with a Louisiana ID.

Lanes are $15/hour on Sunday and $25/hour on Friday & Saturday from 6 – 11 pm. Enjoy swanky cocktails and modern contemporary atmosphere while you bowl! Fulton Alley also has a full restaurant and fantastic wine list.

Toups Meatery

Toups Meatery recently launched a brand new “Belly Up to the Bar” happy hour. Every Tuesday through Saturday from 3 – 6 pm enjoy specials on drinks and food. Cocktail and wine specials include $7 Rosè Spritz and Pekoe Tea Rum Punch; $4 off all whiskeys; $5 draft beers; and $6 select wines-by-the-glass. Also, check out their Deep Cuts – a selection of bottles with an extra discount for patrons to try new and exciting wines. 

Chef Isaac Toups offers a limited happy hour menu including $4 cracklins and cucumber salad; $6 boudin balls & sausage; $7 deviled eggs; and a rotating selection of Covey Rise veggies.

Bayou Bar 

Bayou Bar is located on the grand floor of the famous St. Charles hotel, The Pontchartrain. Bayou Bar just launched it’s new summer happy hour including specials on both drinks and food, Monday – Thursday 3 – 6 pm!

Enjoy classic cocktails such as Old Fashioned, Sazarac, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Whiskey Sour, Penicillin, & Cocktail of the Day for just $5! Food menu (all for $5 each) includes sticky rib tips with jalapeño pepper jelly; duck wings â€“ smoked, fried and served with white BBQ sauce; crawfish eggroll with pit house sauce; and wild mushroom grilled cheese with manchego and truffle.
