January 29, 2020 | It’s time for another edition of Deep South Dance, your latest on everything dance music related in New Orleans. This weekend kicks us into full-fledged Mardi Gras season. And with Carnival comes a slew of awesome shows to check out! Here’s your latest bi-weekly roundup…
Conrank and DMVU joined forces at the Republic NOLA for a collaborative show with Sunsabetchez. Santos Bar hosted a collaborative between Bearded Lady Productions and Subject Matter for a “techno service show.” Performances come from Tristan Dufrene, Mike Servito and Nick Figueroa just to name a few.
And the Vision 2020 parties have been taking over the city. Brought to you by For the Record and hosted by Poor Boys Bar, these production showcases are boasting heavy-hitting lineups for all-night parties.

Armin Van Buuren is tonight! We know we mentioned it last edition of DSD, but we’re just super excited about this show.
Elephante plays the Republic NOLA this Saturday (read our full interview with him here). Later in the month, Getter and Jauz headline the venue as well.
Later in the month, DJ Diesel (Shaq) and Tiesto headline the Metro’s 26th annual Zoolu Ball. And Boogie T takes over the Joy with SubDocta, sfam and Madhatter.
And of course, PLEASE support your local producers and DJ at the weekly events held by Techno Club, Santos Bar, the Loft Club, Dragons Den and more.
