It’s almost time for the Saints to kick off their 2018-2019 season, and new changes are happening every day at training camp.
Yesterday, Drew Brees took to social media to explain why his old helmet was banned. He also took the time to chat about his brand spanking new helmet-facemask combo. The new design is a much needed upgrade from the older style he’s been using in previous seasons. With recent focus from the NFL and the NFLPA on player safety, these kinds of changes are soon to be more widespread throughout the league.
