Chef Nina Compton is hosting Easter brunch on April 4 from 10:30am to 2:30pm at Bywater American Bistro. The a-la carte menu ranges from $6-$20 plates including Coconut Oatmeal, Steak & Eggs, Brioche, Semolina Gnocchi, Crawfish Hand Pie, and more. 


Compere Lapin | 535 Tchoupitoulas Street

Over at Compere Lapin, Chef Nina Compton is offering an a la carte Sunday Brunch menu with options like Hot Fire Chicken with biscuits and pickles; Buttermilk Gnocchi with sausage gravy; Goat Bolognese; Doughnut with Chantilly and caviar and other signature items. In addition to the regular brunch menu, diners can indulge in Easter specials and enjoy boozy brunch cocktails. 


Copper Vine | 1001 Poydras Street

A CBD brunch favorite! Copper Vine opens up at 10:30am and serves their brunch menu through 4pm. With bottomless bubbles and crowd favorites such as the Croque Madame and Jumbo Lumb Crab Benny, how can you go wrong? Located inside the historic Pontchatrain Hotel, from 11AM to 2PM, guests can indulge in Easter specials crafted by Chef/Owner Brian Landry at Jack Rose. Dishes include Sweetbreads – poached egg, fava beans, verjus; Spiced Lamb Chops – carrots, green chickpeas, yogurt; Pork Porterhouse – fried egg, sweet potato hash, red eye gravy; and Halibut – asparagus, English peas, lobster butter. Gris-Gris’ brunch is served every Saturday & Sunday from 11am-4pm. With a good combination between lunch-y brunch-y items and more traditional breakfast dishes, Gris-Gris is a great choice for local favorites in a casual and comfortable atmosphere.
