How to Get Free Admission to New Orleans Museum of Art

New Orleans Museum of Art

We were big fans of the “New Orleans mUSEUM mONTH” CAMPAIGN FROM YEARS PAST. And now to inspire adventure and coax residents out into the city, Free Admission Day at NOMA returns.

Every Wednesday, as part of the “Art for All” campaign, admission to the New Orleans Museum of Art will be totally free for Louisiana residents. The weekly “Art for All” campaign is sponsored by The Helis Foundation and allows weekly free admission for Louisiana residents to New Orleans Museum of Art, Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans, and a monthly free day to Louisiana Children’s Museum.

The campaign happens every month, so take advantage by visiting all of the local institutions!

The Helis Foundation is a Louisiana private foundation, established and funded by the William Helis Family. The foundation is committed to providing access to New Orleans’ rich cultural heritage by underwriting free admission for all Louisiana residents at leading local institutions.

NOMA will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Besthoff Sculpture Garden is open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Safety guidelines require face coverings and social distancing. Prepaid, contactless ticketing is available for visitors to the Museum.
