Magazine Street’s Interactive Ghost Manor Opens Up To The Public [Watch]

This past weekend, Magazine street was a buzz after thousands of residents joined in for Art For Art’s Sake, a night dedicated to strolling and sipping champagne on Magazine. The event is a great way to see some local artists and shops while also enjoying some adult beverages.

While the highlight of the night was the dozens of local art vendors, let’s not forget about one of NOLA’s best-kept secrets, Ghost Manor. If you are unfamiliar with the house, it’s a Halloween masterpiece. Featuring interactive lights, decorations, music, and videos, the house comes to life for fans each and every night. Ghost Manor’s quirky design originally started in 2012 and has garnered national attention for its detail and innovative Halloween technology.

“This very haunted Victorian on magazine street has become home to some of the most fiendish and fun specters in New Orleans. Watch them dance and fly in the windows after dark for an audiovisual extravaganza. Every year something new is added to the manor. This year we have some very important skeletal guests.”

The house features singing and spooky skeletons with over 60+ interactive pumpkins that light up the Magazine street sky. Watch the house in all its glory below, and please head to Ghost Manor’s website here to read the full story on this amazing NOLA gem.
