Gris-Gris Reveals ‘Voodoo-Style’ Pre-Fixe Holiday Menu

For the first year ever, Gris-Gris is celebrating the holidays “Voodoo-style” with something new: the Mange Loa Holiday Menu! The four-course pre-fixe menu launches next week on December 7, and will be available to order through Christmas Eve.

Mangé Loa – meaning ‘the feeding of the Gods’ – is a Voodoo ceremony and large annual feasting of the gods (‘loa’) featuring a variety of animal offerings, drinks, desserts and more. Followers of Voodoo believe the powers of all loa are lifted to their highest potential during this celebration.

For $65, the four-course meal will be offered for dinner only and feature Chef Cook’s top loa offerings: herb-roasted Cornish hen, duck, chicken and andouille gumbo, cast iron seared fish and lobster and more! Wine pairings by The Prisoner Wine Company are available for an additional $35.
