Kolache Kitchen Is Bringing Its Signature Kolaches To The CBD

Growing up in New Orleans has prepared me for all different types of foods. I would say my palette is enriched having lived in a city as diverse in food as New Orleans.

With that being said, there are items that have not exactly been a staple of a native NOLA diet. One of those things being Kolahce’s. But just like everywhere else in American, Kolache’s found a home in NOLA with The Kolache Kitchen. Founded just down the river in Baton Rouge in 2013 the first New Orleans outpost opened in January 2019 on Freret Street, near Tulane and Loyola universities.

Known for its sweet and savory kolaches and breakfast & lunch tacos, Kolache Kitchen has just announced its expanding to its fourth location in downtown NOLA.

The new Kolache Kitchen CBD will serve as a grab-and-go spot catering to office workers in the surrounding neighborhood. Its location will be in the EZ Park building in the CBD, at 310 Carondelet Street. Fans of the quick service spot should expect an opening date in early 2020.
