Louisiana Children’s Museum Announces Free Admission For Louisiana Residents

Who doesn’t love free things? How about free things during the hot New Orleans summer? Well, if you love both of these then you are in luck.

Louisiana families can get free admission on select days at the Louisiana Children’s Museum for the REST OF 2020. Yep, you heard us right, free admission to all our LA residents for the remaining 4 months of 2020.

This initiative is sponsored by the Helis Foundation’s Art for All Program. The free program will allow free entry to the museum on the second Saturday of each month through the rest of the year. The initiative officially kicks off this Saturday, September 12.

Families must register for the free, timed entry tickets in advance. You can find these tickets by heading to their site here. Families can select from two options for timed entry sessions. The options include from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm or from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

Along with these free Saturday family days, the Children’s Museum will also hold free family days on October 10, November 14, and December 12.

All guests 8 and up are required to wear face masks while attending the free event. To learn more about LCM’s monthly Family Play Dates presented by The Helis Foundation, visit www.LCM.org.
