Happy hour season is here! If you’re searching for great drinks and great food and want to try a new restaurant in New Orleans, this list is for you. We scoped out some new and recently updated happy hours in the Big Easy, and came up with these 5 for some of our current favorites!

Boucherie
Located at 8115 Jeannette Street, Boucherie’s contemporary Southern dining is serving up approachable fine dining with a twist. Choose to sit indoors and soak up the ambiance of the adorable house turned restaurant (plus the cool air), or sit in front of the fans in the covered
outdoor seating area for a true al fresco New Orleans dining experience.
Boucherie’s happy hour is one to not be missed, and is available Tuesday through Saturday from 5pm-7pm, and includes:
- $5 house red and white wines
- $1 off beer
- $7 Lisbon by Noon
- $7 Old Fashioneds
- $7 Sazeracs
- $10 Steamed Mussels
- $8 Blackened Shrimp & Grit Cake
- $5 Boudin Balls (A STEAL!)
- $4 Pommes Frites
Copper Vine
Copper Vine at 1001 Poydras Street in the CBD is a treasure, perfect for date night dinners, happy hour chill-outs, private parties, and more. With over 30 wines on tap, Copper Vine Sommelier Lydia Kurkoski has hand-picked stand-out wines and off-beat selections, all at affordable prices.
Copper Vine’s happy hour is served on weekdays from 2-6pm, and includes:
- $8 wine flights
- $8 local brew flights
- Special snack pairings under $7
- Marinated olives ($3)
- Brussels sprouts ($4)
- Tuna tartare and caviar ($7)
- Bacon wrapped dates ($5)
- Red, white + rose special available by the glass or bottle
Costera
New Orleans Spanish restaurant & bar, Costera located at 4938 Prytania St., is a tapas lovers treat. Started by co-owners Chef Brian Burns & Restauranter Reno De Ranieri, Costera offers delicious Spanish cuisine with local produce and Gulf seafood in a casual atmosphere.
Their happy hour is served from 4pm – 6pm Wednesday through Saturday, and includes:
- Half off beer & wine
- $3.50 Marinated Olives
- $7.50 Pork Belly
- $5 Beet Salad
- $4.50 Shank & Potato Bombas
- $4 Papas Bravas
- $5 Shisito Peppers

Sylvain
Off the beaten path of Chartres, just steps away from Jackson Square, is where you’ll find Sylvain at 625 Chartres Street. The self-proclaimed “unruly Southern bistro” is both a local and tourist favorite, catering to all with twists on classic Southern fare, plus delicious cocktails.
Sylvain’s Happy Hour is 4-6pm, Monday through Friday, and includes discounted rates on select cocktails – like the Champagne Cocktail made with sparkling wine, lavender, and lemon twist (pictured below).
The Tasting Room
The Tasting Room is an established wine/cocktail bar at 1906 Magazine Street that oozes cool vibes. A neon light flashing across the wall welcomes you in, with gorgeous pieces of art from artists – including local artist Rambo Flesh.
Their recently revamped happy hour now extends to bourbon, beer, and wine fans, and is available every Monday through Friday from 4pm – 6pm.
