Long-running NOLA dance music promoter AMPS events is kicking off one of their biggest events of the year tonight at the newly renovated Ohm Lounge.
ZOOLU 26 is highlighted this year with Tiesto, Shaq, Riot Ten, Shaun Frank, and now a pre-party featuring one of dance music’s fastest rising stars, Arty.
Artem Stolyarov, known professionally as Arty, is a Russian musician, producer, and DJ. He has collaborated with Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, BT, Paul van Dyk, Mat Zo, OneRepublic, and Matisse & Sadko. His debut album, Glorious, peaked at number 14 on the US Dance/Electronic Albums charts.
With AMPS events always looking to bring new acts to New Orleans, Ohm Lounge could serve as the perfect setting for smaller intimate shows.
Nestled between Lafayette Square and Piazza d’Italia, Ohm Lounge underwent extensive renovations in late 2019. The Newly added décor and renovations are stunning yet simple, including traditional hand-made Shoji screens, imported furniture from Japan and Singapore, 350-year-old vases, 24-carat gold-leaf domes and a solid wood bamboo bar-top crowned by woven wooden lamps to stimulate one’s visual senses.
