Free ‘Movies On The Mississippi’ Series Running This December Kicks Off Tonight With ‘The Grinch’

What are some of your favorite Christmas movies?! If you said The Grinch, Elf, or The Muppet Christmas Carroll, then you’re in luck. The Downtown Development District and The Outlet Collection at the Riverwalk are happy to kick off their Movies On The Mississippi Series this month. 

Movies on the Mississippi Series is hosted on part of the newly renovated Spanish Plaza and will feature complimentary hot chocolate, popcorn, and fleece blankets. The event is entirely free and open to the public. 

The first event kicks off this Friday, December 6 with The Grinch from 6:30 – 8:30! You can see the full list of events from this December below! 

  • Friday, Dec. 6– “The Grinch (2018),” 6:30–8:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Dec. 13– “The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992),” 6:30–8:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Dec. 20– “Elf (2003),” 6:30–8:30 p.m
