It’s no secret that the rate of smashed car windows around the city has increased ten-fold. Just yesterday, 35 car windows were smashed on campus at the University of New Orleans. All around Lakeview have been countless reports of broken windows; even driving down Canal Boulevard you can see the remnants of broken glass left behind.
