Photo + Video: Street Flooding Pops Up All Over The City After Early Morning Thunderstorm

Are we sure that pesky tropical storm didn’t hit today, because it sure seems that way? Street flooding has been reported throughout the city, with the CBD, Canal Street, Treme, Gentilly, and Mid-City seeming to take the brute force of it all. Pictures and videos from social media are showing the city taking on some water in various sections of neighborhoods. See posts from this morning’s early thunderstorms below. WDSU is reporting that over 60 streets are currently flooded in the city. This post will be updated as more information on street flooding becomes available.
