This Week in New Orleans: Pride Weekend, Pool Parties & .Paak

Happy Pride Weekend y’all! As always, New Orleans is celebrating yet another weekend – this weekend we’re highlighting members of the LGBT community who have overcome stigma, alienation, and no longer have to hide who they are. 2018 was the biggest pride parade yet, and we are hoping the weather doesn’t affect this year too much.

We are expecting storms over the weekend, but Saturday & Sunday are currently only showing a slight chance of rain. Saturday storms are supposed to be in the morning, and Sunday looks clear. Fingers crossed that the weather holds out over this beautiful Pride weekend!

Anderson .Paak is also taking over Champion’s Square this Saturday and Ochsner hosts doubleheader Summer Staycation pool parties this weekend!
