This story was first published on March 24, 2020. After nearly two months, Issac Toups and his mid-city hot spot Toups Meatery is still giving away free meals to medical & service industry professionals.
One of our favorite Mid City restaurants is slinging curbside takeout and is soon starting their delivery service via UberEats.
Chef Isaac Toups is offering curbside takeout at his Mid-City restaurant Toups’ Meatery, from 11 AM – 9 PM daily, and will soon be offering 3rd party delivery with UberEats. Diners can rest assured knowing that there are plenty of boudin balls and cracklins for everyone.
In some other amazing news, the restaurant is also offering “Family Meal” every day at 3 PM (until they run out) free of charge for the needy and especially those in the service industry. You must call ahead so they can safely box your food.
