Happy Weekend New Orleans! As the city mourns the end of another great Saints season, we’re also gearing up for the College Football National Championship at the Superdome on Monday! But if sports aren’t your thing, no worries. There are tons of weekend events besides pre-tailgate tailgates.
We have a pretty stellar comedy lineup this weekend. Ari Shaffir and Bill Burr – both nationally notable comics – are coming by the city this weekend. Tipitina’s celebrates their 43rd year of business with a variety of shows throughout the week – the Rebirth Brass Band set on Saturday is sure to be a must-see.
You can taste test some tamales during the Tamale Fest at Poor Boys Bar this weekend, or start a Zen Buddhist practice at the New Orleans Zen Temple.
