The NOCCA Foundation is gearing up for its annual Home for the Holidays fundraiser on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the House of Blues New Orleans. Running from 6:30 p.m. to midnight, the event brings together some of the city’s most iconic talent for a night of music, community, and support for young artists. This year’s lineup includes Irma Thomas, Kermit Ruffins, The Soul Rebels, Big Freedia, and NOCCA student pianist River Eckert, with Gralen Banks hosting the evening.

Tickets are available now at HomeForTheHolidaysNOLA.com, and all proceeds go directly to the NOCCA Foundation’s Daniel Price Memorial Fund for Aspiring Artists. The fund honors Daniel Price, a gifted NOCCA alum whose life and artistic career ended tragically in 2003. The memorial program helps NOCCA graduates pursue college-level fine arts studies and supports young artists attending national summer intensives. Since launching, the fund and this annual benefit have raised more than $700,000 for NOCCA students.
- Guests can choose from several ticket options
GA Tickets ($55) provide entry to the 8 p.m. concert featuring Kermit Ruffins, The Soul Rebels, and Big Freedia, plus access to the silent auction until 9 p.m.
Silver Tickets ($150) include early entry for the Patron Party from 6:30–8:30 p.m., complete with dinner, open bar, and performances by Irma Thomas and River Eckert. Silver guests also enjoy all-night access to the Parish Room and its open bar.
Bronze Tickets ($60) offer the same perks as Silver but are reserved exclusively for NOCCA alumni.
Gold Tickets ($290) include everything in Silver plus reserved loge seating for the full night.
Daniel Price’s legacy lives on through this event. A New Orleans native, Price attended NOCCA and Ben Franklin before earning national recognition as a young artist. His murals, portraits, and paintings, many inspired by the culture and spirit of New Orleans, remain showcased in restaurants, homes, and galleries in New Orleans and San Francisco. Home for the Holidays continues to honor his life by investing in the next generation of NOCCA talent.
