Christmasfest Brings Ferris Wheels, Ice Skating + Slides, & Tinsel Tavern Bar to NOLA

Christmas is officially here, and we are having all of it. The city is ripe with Christmas pop-ups, hotel decorations, and cold weather.

And now you can experience 35,000 square feet of Christmas fun at Christmasfest starting this weekend.

NOLA ChristmasFest will open from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., December 20-31, including special hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Presented by Coca-Cola NOLA ChristmasFest added several new features including a 50 ft. Ferris Wheel, two 15 ft. ice slides, nightly children’s book reading, ice-skating with Santa and the Tinsel Terrace Tavern Bar for adults which overlooks the ice-skating rink, and provides a much-needed relief from the kids.

Along with the new and old attractions, guests can find activities for both kids and adults. Families can find bounce houses, Christmas inflatables, Santa and friends, and a Gingerbread Village. Check out the full list of new attractions below!

• two 15 ft. high ice slides
• 50 ft. Ferris Wheel
• three new bounce houses in the Tiny Tot Zone
• Skating with Santa
• Tinsel Terrace Tavern
