Last night the New Orleans Saints did it again. They beat the Dallas Cowboys at home 12-10 in a thrilling low scoring affair that featured some awesome defense by both teams. The highlight of the night was definitely the Saints stopping Dallas on their final drive, but a close honorable mention has to be the reaction of Saints QB Drew Brees after Taysom Hill trucked a Dallas defender for a first down. Brees was on the sideline watching in plain clothes while he continues to rehab his injured right thumb. Taysom Hill meanwhile continues to be the human highlight reel, playing just about every position on the field.
It’s rare to see Drew show emotion and not be in uniform, so this was truly a cool moment! The Saints will hopefully have Drew back for week 8 or 9, for now, they continue to win in different ways. The Who Dats take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday at 12:00 PM in the Superdome.
