The Gentle Giant Releases New Hour Long Mix of Louisiana Trap [Listen]

Gentle Giant

Scott Brady says he takes musical inspiration from all genres. Under his stage name The Gentle Giant, he spins trap and experimental bass music all throughout Southeast Louisiana.

The producer’s latest mix, entitled “Dark Room,” was just released over the weekend. A blend of trap classics, Gentle Giant originals, remixes and unreleased tracks fill in the hour-long mix.

The mix comes just a few days off the artist’s newest single release. “Thanks Aaron” dropped on Soundcloud less than two weeks ago.

Hailing from Mandeville, Brady has been producing since 2015. Originally a percussionist and a saxophone player throughout school, Brady took up DJing and producing near the end of high school. Being completely self-taught, he hosted a radio show at Southeastern Louisiana University where he honed his DJ skills.

He frequents City Bar in Baton Rouge with his live performances, and makes a few stops at the Republic to play an opening set or two. Stay up to date on the The Gentle Giants upcoming shows here.

But before you do – make sure to stream his latest Dark Room mix. It’s perfect, energetic pick-me-up for your Monday afternoon.
