River Beats has teamed up with Republic NOLA, PROJECT AURI, BASSIK, and Louisiana EDM Family to help raise awareness and collect donations for the flood victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, TX.
The fundraiser will be held on Friday, September 1 at Republic NOLA featuring Dr. Fresch. There will be a minimum $10 donation at the door and all are encouraged to bring canned goods and other supplies to help the flood victims. 100% of all proceeds will go directly to help flood victims and families in need.
Those in New Orleans and surrounding Louisiana remember all too well what it felt like to need help and Houston was one of the first cities to provide relief during Hurricane Katrina. Now, it is our turn to help our neighbors rebuild their community.
Items needed for flood relief victims include (but are not limited to): canned goods (pop-tops and easy open cans are ideal), non-perishable foods, blankets, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, lotion, throwaway razors, shaving cream), feminine products, never worn sandals, shoes, toilet paper, flashlights, jackets, socks, diapers, formula, and anything else you feel would be a comfort during a devastating loss.
