THE DEEP is back in New Orleans this May 23, for an epic celebration in a new pop-up venue. River Beats is turning ten years old, and to celebrate, River Beats, in partnership with ARORA NOLA and Republic NOLA, has booked our friend Le Youth at our new indoor location, Fish Pot Studios.
We’re transforming it into a one-night-only pop-up venue. Expect a fully in-the-round 360 stage, mapped projections across the walls, and high-level visual production designed to completely reimagine the space for a unique New Orleans experience. This venue keeps to THE DEEP’s core mission: Unique Sounds Meet Unique Places.
Fish Pot Studios
Fish Pot Studios is an independent, artist-owned space in the heart of New Orleans. Known for its versatility across film, photography, music, and art, the 22,000 sq ft warehouse will be completely transformed into a one-night-only venue.
For this edition of THE DEEP, expect a fully in-the-round 360 stage, high-level show production designed to reimagine the space from the ground up.
Le Youth Returns to NOLA For His Who Are You Really? Tour
In 2022, we debuted THE DEEP with Le Youth on the rooftop of the Virgin Hotel New Orleans. The show sold out, and he returned twice more after that—but hasn’t been back to New Orleans since 2024. On May 23, he makes his return, bringing his new album Who Are You Really? to NOLA.
The album centers on identity in the digital age, exploring who we are beyond our online personas and what it means to live more authentically outside of the internet. While still rooted in his signature melodic house sound, the project leans more introspective—focusing on self-awareness, real-world connection, and the contrast between curated online versions of ourselves and who we actually are in everyday life.
River Beats Makes Ten Years
Founded in March 2016 as an entertainment and event brand out of New Orleans, River Beats has grown far beyond its roots. As we expanded, so did our ability to tell stories and create content, leading to the launch of our digital publication, RiverBeats.life, along with River Beats Dance, River Beats Colorado, and River Beats New Orleans.
From there, we built out our show series, including THE DEEP and SHIFT Thursdays in Colorado, while continuing to evolve on the media side. Since then, we’ve launched River Beats Media, our marketing agency, and River Beats TV, a full-service video and film production company.
