The New Orleans police department unveiled special badges this summer for Pride Month. And recent department news release says that some officers will be sporting the same newly created “Pride Edition Badges” during Southern Decadence this weekend.
The “Pride Edition Badges” is the department’s traditional badge, a star framed by a crescent, but with rainbow-striped print over the star.
