BASSIK Republic NOLA Present Super Future with, Gardella, and MAR. No tickets are needed as this is a FREE SHOW! Doors at 11:00 pm!
New Orleans is no stranger to unique music, and Good Friday shows are no different. Republic NOLA and BASSIK are welcoming a rising dance act, Super Future, to the Big Easy tonight.
Nick Rowland, aka Super Future, enthusiasm for exploring far-reaching corners of bass music is refreshing. The River Beats crew has been supporting his sounds since early 2018 when our very own Caleb Beck interviewed Nick. At the time the Super Future project was producing gin-clear, emotive future bass with strong guitar flourishes. Since then, Super Future has expanded to a more frenzied subwoofer bombast that works so well with today’s fan favorites, as evident by this remix piece we covered in 2019.

Along with our interviews and music coverage, we have repeatedly labeled Super Future as an up-and-comer in the dance scene who needs to be paid attention to. His 2022 “Goddess Ep” is another example of his diverse prowess for new sounds, with the single “Always” exploring a Hippie Sabotage-type vibe we can not get enough of.
If you aren’t convinced enough already, hopefully, a little education on why we dig Super Future so much will help. So while you plan out a weekend full of Crawfish, family time, and Easter Sunday, you should include a FREE Super Future show at Republic NOLA.
