Sad news to report today: The BUKU Music + Arts Festival was forced to cancel its 2020 event due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. Though not happening this year, the festival has been re-scheduled to March 19-20, 2021.
The festival was originally scheduled for March 2020, but as new cases of the coronavirus developed in New Orleans, festival organizers were forced to reschedule until early September. This announcement was released about a month ago, after St. Patrick’s Day events were cancelled and the coronavirus continued to explode in the city.
As the COVID-19 situation in New Orleans numbers increases, the BUKU team has made the tough decision to cancel the 2020 event and offer full refunds to ticket buyers.
Please see their statement below.
This is a developing story, we will update this as we receive more information.
