Join Copper Vine for a Special Mardi Gras Wine Dinner This Month

Later this month, join Copper Vine Executive Chef Amy Mehrtens for the restaurant’s 2nd annual Mardi Gras Wine Dinner! Featuring wines from Copain Winery, enjoy a 5-course dining experience “with unexpected flavor combinations and playful takes on classic dishes” on Wednesday, February 23 at 6:00pm. Copper Vine‘s new Sommelier, Emily Walker, will lead the way with harmonious wine pairings to compliment the meal!

While you wine and dine, Nick Ellman (sax + clarinet) and Sam Kuslan (keys) will provide live musical entertainment. Nick Ellman is a New Orleans based performer, composer, producer and educator with a wide range of musical specialties. He’s most widely known as the co-founder of the band Naughty Professors.

The 5-course meal includes unique dishes such as oyster po’boy eclairs smoked oyster ravigote, apple slaw and ghost pepper caviar; bbq’d lobster with an Abita aioli and a king cake beignet served with a moon pie.
