It’s a tough life out there for New Orleans restaurants. In a city that is quickly growing and evolving, local businesses have to roll with the punches and do what is best for their business and for their team. Change is good, and Coquette is acknowledging that now, it is time for a change.
According to their recent Instagram post as they go into their 10th year of business, Coquette will no longer be open on Monday’s. In addition, they will no longer be serving weekend brunch (say goodbye to those fried chicken platters!). They are now only open for dinner six nights a week.
“While we are sad to see brunch go it means we can focus on what truly drives the business, our dinner services. It also insures that no one is working a double on any given day. Closing Monday gives our team time to regroup and to have a full day off together, if they choose. We are excited for these changes and believe it will lead to a better dining experience for our guests and a better quality of life for ourselves and the amazing people that work with us.”
