While the entertainment is sure to impress, the heart of the festival is all about gumbo! Enjoy authentic Louisiana-style gumbo from local chefs and vendors, participate in a gumbo cooking contest, and explore fun for the whole family, from a Miss Creole Gumbo Pageant to kids’ activities, vendors, cultural performances, and more.

The Bridge City Gumbo Festival takes place October 10–12, 2025, at the Westwego Farmers Market. Admission is just $5 per person, with an optional $30 ride pass for unlimited rides, and free parking is available on-site.
