Hells Gala Returns. October 25 & 26. Grab tickets HERE.
New Orleans’ biggest Halloween event, Hell’s Gala, returns to Mardi Gras World with a heavy-hitting lineup featuring two hallowed headliners: Chris Lake on October 25th and Zeds Dead on October 26th. 2024 marks the 15th anniversary of Hell’s Gala.
“Fifteen years ago, we started Hell’s Gala with no grand vision—just a desire to throw a Halloween party for our friends because there was nothing happening in the city. So, we created Hell’s Gala. Fast forward 15 years, and I’ve had the honor of working alongside my friends and partners while learning from one of the biggest promoters and talent buyers in the country. It’s incredible to see how far we’ve come.” – Ryan Roach, Founder of Encore Entertainment
The event has grown exponentially since 2009, bringing some of the biggest names in electronic from long-standing top-40 favorites like Benny Benassi and Steve Aoki to the latest and greatest like last year’s headliners, John Summit and Subtronics. The 2023 edition brought ‘Double Trouble’ with its expansion to 2 nights, and Encore Entertainment is keeping with the contrast of house and bass music with this year’s theme ‘Potions & Poisons’.
Night 1 provides a healthy serving of house music to cure all ailments. Black Book Records founder, Chris Lake, is returning to Hell’s Gala following his support slot for Illenium back in 2018.
“I love visiting New Orleans. It’s one of my favorite cities to visit, so it’s a treat whenever I have the opportunity to play there. Hells Gala is a great show and I get to be in one of the best cities in North America!” – Chris Lake, Founder of Black Book Records
Direct support for Chris Lake is another label boss Cloonee, who has been ripping through the underground house scene and recently received recognition from the mainstream with his debut on the Billboard charts for his single “Sippin’ Yak.” Lake and Cloonee are joined by Black Book records artist Banglaboy and 3-time Hell’s Gala mainstage opener mainstay, Merger.
Night 2 is loaded with a lethal concoction of bass led by Deadbeats founders, Zeds Dead. The dynamic duo made up of Dylan Mamid AKA “DC,” and Zachary Rapp-Rovan AKA “Hooks” started their journey in 2009, the same year as Hell’s Gala. They have managed to stay atop the charts and festival lineups throughout their career, and over these last 15 years, are responsible for bringing countless music fans into the world of EDM.
Supporting Zeds Dead is Morflo label boss, Mersiv. Known for having a ravenous cult following, his sets take listeners on a journey through soundscapes that are as haunting as they are captivating. Steller will also be taking on the Hell’s Gala mainstage, she has been quickly gaining traction with support from some of bass music’s top acts like CloZee, Subtronics, LSDream and more for her wonky bass, groovy vibes, and trap beats. Kicking off Night 2 on the mainstage is local legend, Bawldy, the biggest name signed to local artist management company, Ragency.
Mardi Gras World provides an immersive setting for Hell’s Gala including 2 stages, local food vendors, sponsor activations, local performers, costume contests, and art installations available to all attendees. For VIPs, the plot thickens with an open bar happy hour from 9PM – 12AM, access to elevated viewing, private bathrooms, and private bars as well as a haunted mansion and garden area. VIP sections are also available including a private table, premium liquor, unlimited mixers, and cocktail service.
