Good news is still rolling in for Joe Burrow! The latest list of accomplishments to be checked off by the LSU Quarterback is massive: his own stadium! Burrow’s high school alma mater, Athens High School in Ohio, has approved naming their football stadium in celebration of Burrow.
The new stadium, starting next spring, will officially be known as Joe Burrow Stadium. This decision was an all-around YES vote by the board. The school officially announced the news via a press release posted on their Facebook page.
In addition, the school board also has said that the booster club for the school is planning a ceremony to celebrate Burrow and his latest honor. No date has been announced for this yet.
Last week, Joe Burrow won the Heisman Award; he is now one of two award recipients from Louisiana State University.
