Local Catering Company Offering Jazz Fest Classics: Crawfish Monica, Cochon de Lait Po’Boy & More

It’s been a tough few weeks for NOLA. Restaurants and bars throughout the greater NOLA area have been especially hit hard this past month. But there have been shining examples of businesses pivoting to meet the need of New Orleanians craving the comfort food our city is known for.

One such example is Joel Dondis and his team at Joel Catering. Joel and his team are the ones behind Il Mercato on Magazine. Since the COVID restrictions began Joel and his team have been crafting amazing menu selections that customers can order online and receive the next day delivered straight to their door.

And now that Jazz Fest season is here, without actually being here, Joel Catering has pivoted to a Jazz Fest inspired menu featuring several of our favorite Jazz Fest classics. Joel is currently offering a Cochon de Lait Po’Boy KitCrawfish MonicaRed Beans and RiceNatchitoches Meat Pies, and more. The company is dedicated to recreating a little bit of Jazz Fest at home. If you’re feeling the Jazz Fest magic, this might be your chance to relive some of your favorite dishes. You can order online here. See some of their amazing creations below.
