Good things come in threes, and especially so for rising electronic artist KLUTCH. With a new aesthetic, new sound, and new releases, KLUTCH is poised for a breakout year.
In 2016, he supported major artists such as Seven Lions, Steve Aoiki, Illenium, and Marshmello. 2017 looks to be even better, as he marked his second career BUKU Music & Art Project appearance prior to a circuit of spring festivals throughout the US.
But before we get ahead of ourselves, take a listen to “Captivate“, the first single off KLUTCH‘s debut EP Elevate.
The track begins with a gradual buildup of an uplifting melody, and as the percussion eases in, it reaches a plateau of positive energy.
But KLUTCH doesn’t go for the easy way out with a heavy drop here. Instead, he keeps it mellow; even the bass sounds melodic. Once the track winds down, the listener will feel like they’ve landed safely, ready for the next KLUTCH release.
The Elevate EP has 4 tracks set to release every week during the month of April. The full release is scheduled for the end of the month.
Look out for the next release on April 14th.
In the meantime, this New Orleans native is taking all the necessary steps to ensure he’s ready for takeoff.
