New Orleans Film Society is bringing a Summer Film Series to Orpheum Theater! A free summer experience to kick off their upcoming 30th New Orleans Film Festival in October.
Opening night is Thursday, June 27 and will be showing two documentaries honoring legendary New Orleans chefs, Leah Chase and Ella Brennan. The first documentary, Chasing Dreams: A Leah Chase Story will be shown as a celebration of the recent loss of Leah Chase and her legacy to New Orleans.
Showings will be on July 10th, July 25th, and August 8th with award-winning films from New Orleans Film Festival history. Here are the showings and the times:

Admission is free to the public for all showings. Become a member of the New Orleans Film Society and get $100 off an all-access pass for New Orleans Film Festival. Also, members can enjoy an exclusive screening of The Last Black Man in San Fransisco at Prytania Theater on Wednesday, June 19.
