The Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus celebrated its 10th anniversary with a newly expanded parade route. Previously the lovable nerds of the Marigny, this year saw the walking krewes take the space parade all the way through the heart of the French Quarter.
2020 was the Krewe’s 10th anniversary – and the 900 members of this year’s parade surely didn’t disappoint. Interstellar costumes and out-of-this-world art installations make it the number one parade for “Mardi Gras outcasts.” They swear by their krewe to save the galaxy, one drunken nerd at a time.
Check out some of our favorite photos from the International Krewe of Chewbacchus tenth anniversary parade on February 1, 2020.
