Trader Joe’s Metairie Reopens After Two Workers Diagnosed With Coronavirus

TRADER JOE’S METAIRIE cLOSED earlier this week AFTER TWO EMPLOYEES TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19. The company informed shoppers that the employees had not been in the store since March 23, but we’re taking extra precautions.

After two days of extensive cleaning, the store is re-opening today, Friday, April 3. A message on their website stated the company was closing due to “precautionary cleaning and sanitization.”

Trader Joe’s Metairie did not release any additional information about the condition of their employees but did state the employees were paid for the shifts they missed. Trader Joe’s is located at 2949 Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
