it’s another carnival weekend in New Orleans! After Chewbacchus kicked us off for the season, we’re gearing up for all our favorite parades coming this month.
The second annual Krewe Bohème takes the streets on Friday and follows up with their Absinthe Ball at the Joy Theatre. And everyone’s favorite raunchy, satirical parade Krewe du Vieux marches on Saturday.
If you’re looking for some post-parade fun, Banks Street Bar is throwing down with ClusterFunk and DinoBrawl on Saturday night. More in the mood to be serenaded? Not a problem. Check out Celine Dion‘s national tour as it makes a stop at the Smoothie King Center.
Round out your weekend with a stop at the Mardi Gras market hosted by the Music Box Village. We’ve got lots of parades coming up – you’ll definitely need a few new costume pieces!
