The SPOOKTACULAR SATURDAY event, boo dat, RETURNS TO THE OUTLET COLLECTION AT RIVERWALK This week. For those looking for a family-friendly Halloween celebration in New Orleans, here’s your ticket.
New Orleans at Halloween-time can get a bit sinister. But luckily, there’s a party for everyone in The Big Easy. If you’re more interested in treats than tricks this spooky season, head over to The Outlet Collection at the Riverwalk. In a special “Spooktacular Saturday” event, Boo Dat! is a celebration of the season for kids of all ages, and the young at heart.
Families and young ones can stroll along the picturesque Mississippi River while enjoying the ghostly, family-friendly celebration. The spooky celebration features trick-or-treating among
20+ retailers in the shopping center, seasonally themed kids’ activities, goodies, and goblins.
The participating retailers inside The Outlet Collection will offer candy and special treats to trick-or-treaters. And if you’re looking for something fun to do with the young ones, there are additional activities plannes too. You can settle in at the spooky coloring and arts area, or meet your favorite costumed characters from the haunted attraction New Orleans Nightmare. Forget your candy bag? No worries, there are complimentary trick-or-treat bags for your visit, so no sweet will be left behind.
The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk is located at 500 Port of Orleans Place, #245, New Orleans, LA. The main Halloween activities and directory of participating retailers will be located in the food court and kids play area off of the Julia Street entrance.
Per local guidelines, all guests, staff, and retailers of the Riverwalk are required to wear face coverings to enter the center and must be kept on unless actively eating or drinking. Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the mall.
Boo Dat! takes place on Saturday, October 23 from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m at the Outlet Collection at the Riverwalk. Costumes are encouraged!
