Enjoy the many wonderful things grown, caught, and foraged right here in Louisiana! Tomorrow, Bucktown Harbor is hosting the “Eat Local Challenge” during the Crescent City Farmers Market from 3pm-7pm. Everything available for purchase will be within a 200 mile radius to New Orleans, ensuring that everything is local.
There will be live music, a book signing from Liz Williams – the author of Unique Eats and Eateries of New Orleans, cooking demonstrations, and more! Even Clesi’s will be in attendance with crawfish. There will even be kids activities for your little ones. Enjoy all of this plus shopping for local goods including peaches, tomatoes, grass-fed beef, tofu, and lots more.
Bucktown Harbor is located on Old Hammond Highway, directly next to Station 6 in Metairie, LA.
