The Country Club in New Orleans Returns Tomorrow, June 17

The Country Club located at 634 Louisa Street is reopening its doors next Tomorrow, June 17! Both the restaurant and pool will be reopening with limited hours and new policies to keep their employees safe, as well as their guests.

In the restaurant, they have added new safety measures and upgraded systems, including a new HVAC system that reduces 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. Guests will be required to wear a mask when entering and exiting, as well as while using the restrooms, similar to what other restaurants have implemented as well. The restaurant has been reworked to allow for social distancing at 50% of normal capacity.

One thing to note, there will be no drag brunches at the immediate moment as the state and city have not yet cleared “live entertainment.” There will also be no bottomless mimosas and no bloody mary bar. Stay tuned for a new, limited menu.

For those curious about the pool: it will also be reopening with 25% normal capacity, which is 100 people. The hot tub, sauna, and locker room will be open provided social distancing practices are observed. Masks MUST be worn in locker rooms and bathrooms.

Just a heads up, there will be a check-in station for IDs, temp checks, and bag checks/searches. The cashier will take payment and have a guest sign in, that will also be used for contact tracing.

The pool and restaurant will be open 7 days a week from 10 am-10 pm for the foreseeable future.
