Two distinct coastal dining traditions will come together in New Orleans when Dolfy’s welcomes Santa Monica’s acclaimed Rustic Canyon for an exclusive collaborative dinner on Tuesday, August 25.
The one-night-only experience will feature a five-course tasting menu created by Dolfy’s Chef and Owner Adolfo Garcia Jr. and Rustic Canyon Executive Chef Elijah DeLeon. The menu will combine seasonal produce sourced from the renowned Santa Monica Farmers Market with Louisiana Gulf seafood, bringing together Southern California’s ingredient-driven cooking and the bold flavors of the Gulf South.

Each chef will create two individual dishes before collaborating with Dolfy’s Pastry Chef Amanda Perdomo on the final course. The full tasting menu is priced at $110 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.
Rustic Canyon is known for its hyper-seasonal California cuisine and has served as an influential training ground for several respected chefs, including Jeremy Fox. DeLeon now leads the kitchen, continuing the restaurant’s ingredient-focused approach while adding his own perspective to its constantly evolving menu.
Dolfy’s, the second restaurant from Garcia, draws inspiration from the flavors and traditions of Spain’s Basque Country. Located along the Freret Street corridor, the restaurant specializes in fire-roasted meats, seafood, and vegetables designed for sharing. Garcia’s menu blends classic Basque techniques with Louisiana ingredients through pintxos, small plates, and entrées such as arroz meloso with crawfish, Gulf shrimp, saffron, and garlic aioli.
The Dolfy’s x Rustic Canyon Collaborative Dinner will take place Tuesday, August 25, with staggered reservations available between 5 and 9 p.m. Reservations are available through Resy.
Dolfy’s is located at 4508 Freret Street in New Orleans. Additional information is available at Dolfys.com and on Instagram at @dolfys_nola. Follow Rustic Canyon at @rusticcanyon or visit RusticCanyonRestaurant.com.
