Jean Lafitte Swamp Tours Prepare for Opening Prior to Memorial Day Weekend

Going stir crazy and searching for a SAFE activity to do with the kids outside of the house? Here’s the perfect thing for you to do! Drive on out to the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve and experience one of their authentic swamp tours, reopening this Thursday, May 21.

The hour and 45-minute tour takes you through the heart of Southern Louisiana swamplands, and is fun for all ages. Even better: the tour takes place on a national park, so the wildlife you may encounter on your tour is 100% in their natural habitat.

For your safety, Jean Lafitte Swamp Tours have installed plexiglass dividers, separating you from the driver. In addition, only 15 people (including the captain) will be allowed on the boat. Each guest will have their own designated spot that they will be asked to stay at. Increased sanitization is also one of their priorities – before and after each tour.

Kids 12 and under ride free and adults are only $20 through June.

Get your tickets now here, and get ready for Memorial Day weekend fun!

The Creole Queen and Riverboat Louis Armstrong – both owned by Big Easy Hospitality, the same owners as Jean Lafitte Swamp Tours – are still closed at this time.
