Louis the Child
Louis The Child kicked off their fall tour with a banging sold out show at Republic NOLA last Friday night featuring special guests Pham and Quinn XCII. The Chicago natives brought the jams and turned a regular Friday night into an exceptionally lit one.
Pham started the night with a laidback set featuring a fusion of hip-hop, electronic, and future bass sounds. He kept the crowd grooving and set the perfect tone for what would be a great night full of awesome music. Indie vocalist Quinn XCII took the stage next to perform a selection of original songs and pop covers. It was refreshing to have a singer as an opener and he served as the perfect transition from the down-tempo vibes of Pham into an energetic Louis the Child set.
Louis the Child has made their presence known in the electronic music scene of late. Though they are young this exceptionally talented pair has ascended to the top and become the princes of future bass. Their set catered perfectly to the excited and fan-filled crowd, which stayed hype and dancing throughout the entire show. They kept the grooves coming with new unreleased music as well as a smattering of original favorites. This show was one of the most anticipated of the fall season and it completely exceeded expectations. One thing we know for sure is that Louis the Child knows how to throw a damn good party.
