This week is full of positive stories that need to see the light of day. With phase 1 of essential businesses reopening in full swing some of our favorite restaurants are finally starting to pop back up. Last week we told you about Gris-Gris, and today we are back with restaurant Avo.
Avo is a Magazine favorite known for its modern take on authentic Italian. The restaurant is the product of New Orleans-born chef, Nick Lama, a third-generation Sicilian. Over the past few weeks, Avo has worked hard to get their kitchen and dining room ready for reopening. Starting today, Tuesday, May 19, guests can enjoy restaurant dining (25% capacity, reservations required) or takeout via phone or website.
Avo’s current hours of operation are Tuesday – Saturday, 5 – 8 pm and include a wide selection of apps, pastas, entrees, desserts, and cocktails. And for those looking for a more family-style, Avo is offering a selection of dried, housemade pastas and sauces to create your own Italian meals at home.
