As the Grand Marshal of the 2024 Pygmalion parade, Pauly D brings gym, tan, and laundry to the heart of New Orleans. The Pygmalion Krewe, a vibrant and dynamic organization, has been a staple of the Carnival season since its establishment in 2000. On February 3rd, at sunset on the corner of Jefferson and Magazine, The Krewe of Pygmalion kicks off the festivities with a dazzling parade featuring 27 floats and over 1,000 riders.

The parade will wind through uptown and end in the CBD near the iconic Mother’s, a beloved Cajun establishment. Be prepared for the awe-inspiring floats, including the Jester, Aphrodite, and the Mammoth, as residents and visitors come together to celebrate the magic of Mardi Gras.
Following the parade, the party continues at the Sugar Mill with the annual Pygmalion Fest. For the past seven years, the Krewe of Pygmalion has brought A-list talent to the stage, and this year is no exception. Pauly D, known for his reality TV stardom on MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” will headline the event. His magnetic stage presence has made him a fan favorite, earning him his spinoff, “The Pauly D Project.”
Born in Providence, R.I., Pauly D has DJ residencies in Las Vegas at Drai’s and in Atlantic City at The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Resort. He’s toured alongside pop-culture icons Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys and performed at some of the biggest events globally, including “Miss USA.”
