For many of us, Chewbacchus Parade marks the true beginning of Carnival Season. The Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus rolls two weeks before “Mardi Gras weekend”. And in just 9 years has earned the reputation as the most-stellar parade in the galaxy.
What is now a huge affair with over 2500 due-paying members, started out as a way for Mardi Gras outcasts to celebrate in style. 2019 marked the 9th year since Ryan Ballad and Kirah Haubrich first came up with the idea for the Krewe. This year definitely brought some incredible outfits and out-of-this-world characters!
