The Floozies returns to New Orleans for another Jazz Fest afterparty show. Tickets for their show at the Fillmore go on sale Feb 14
The Floozies must love Jazz fest in New Orleans. The last time we saw the funktastic duo they were playing a Jazz Fest afterparty show at Tipitina’s in 2018.
This year, the brotherly ensemble featuring Mark and Matt Hill are headlining the Fillmore for a late-night show. The Floozies are bringing the second weekend of Jazz Fest to a dazzlingly funky close. The Dayglow Funk tour stops in New Orleans on Sunday, May 3rd at 2 am.
“Born in funk and bred in the digital age,” the Kansas-based duo is known for their wild laser shows and smooth blend of classic funk and technicolored bass. Since their 2008 debut: A Vice of My Own, their audience has expanded to a global community of funk lovers and bass heads. Their 2017 album Funk Jesus showcased hit singles like the title track and “Nothing to Lose,” plus brought the boys to festival stages across the country.
Joining them in NOLA for their Fillmore performance in SunSquabi. The Colorado three-piece specializes in spacey James and rhythm-driven funk.
