NOLA Cannabis Co. has opened a new flagship dispensary at 433 Bourbon Street, bringing a three-story therapeutic cannabis retail and education experience to the French Quarter.
The 16,279-square-foot location combines patient services, local art, interactive exhibits, and cannabis education. It is the company’s latest storefront, joining existing locations in the Lower Garden District, Uptown, the Westbank, Kenner, and Metairie.
Each floor offers a different experience:
- First Floor: Product displays, ordering kiosks, staff assistance, and express pickup for online orders.
- Second Floor: A speakeasy-inspired education space offering personalized guidance, a curated flower bar, aroma jars, and access to independent clinicians who can provide therapeutic cannabis recommendations.
- Third Floor: Interactive exhibits exploring cannabis categories, consumption methods, terpenes, and industry history. The space includes a virtual budtender wall, a self-guided smell bar, a stained-glass installation by local artist Fred Weber, and a theater experience.
The dispensary offers Louisiana-grown flower, pre-rolls, gummies, beverages, concentrates, and vape products. Everything sold through the store is regulated under Louisiana’s therapeutic marijuana program and is subject to state testing, tracking, and labeling requirements.
Patients need a valid recommendation from an authorized clinician before purchasing. Those without one can learn about the process through NOLA Cannabis Co., including access to independent clinicians offering virtual consultations. Once approved, patients can shop in person or order online for pickup or delivery.
The Bourbon Street location is open Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
