It’s not every day you get to do happy hour at New Orleans’ second oldest restaurant! Tujague’s, birthplace of the Grasshopper cocktail, has launched a new Weekend Happy Hour every Friday – Sunday from 2:30PM – 5PM.
Bar Manager Amber Harrington has made sure that there is plenty of options for those searching for the perfect Happy Hour cocktaill. Certain to please any type of imbiber, the menu features $7 Sazeracs, Old Fashioneds, Palomas, and French 75s; $7 Tujague’s Private Label wines; and $5 local craft beer.
Additionally, guests can enjoy specialty Happy Hour bites by Executive Chef Gus Martin. Tasty temptations include Boudin Balls served with pepper jelly; Truffle Fries; Crispy Pork Belly served with Parmesan polenta and pepper jelly gastrique; Tuna Poke – yellowfin tuna, red onion, orange, avocado, black sesame seeds, and a spicy hoisin soy sauce served over rice; and Crawfish Au Gratin – Louisiana crawfish tails with a decadent mornay sauce served with French bread crostini.
Find Tujague’s at 429 Decatur Street. The restaurant serves dinner Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 5PM – 9PM; Friday and Saturday from 5PM – 10PM. Brunch is served on Friday from 11AM – 2:30PM; Saturday and Sunday from 10AM – 2:30PM.
